Thank you for taking the time to check into service here at SCF. We believe that service is an integral step in the growth process on our journey with God. We also believe that service within the church is the easiest starting point for most of us. As a result we have tried to make it as easy as possible to get connected to SCF via service.

This book contains a list of current opportunities to connect here at SCF. We work hard to keep it accurate, but it may not be perfect, so please feel free to ask questions or make comments to Rich at richs@scf.net.

We also believe that serving is just one part of the Christian journey. If you have been around SCF for a while you have heard us talk about Learn, Relate and Serve. We believe these are accomplished via the following practices:

Learn
This primarily takes place on Sunday mornings at our 9 or 11am services.  Personal study is also essential for the learning process.

Relate
This primarily takes place by regularly meeting with a group of people that encourage you to move forward spiritually.  This also involves intentionally praying for those that are not on the journey with God and looking for opportunities to share your faith. We call that hope peddling.

Serve
If you are reading this then you have taken the first step toward service and our desire is that you would find a good fit for you.  In addition serve involves honoring God with your finances.
